Coming in July 2009 Oregon will be adding a new overlay area code; 458. This is area code will be added to the existing Oregon 541 area code, and cover the same territory. This is an extension for our hosted Trixbox/VOIP PBX. Choose from one of our excellent Aastra or Linksys phones, or bring your own SIP compatible VOIP phone. Each extension comes with outbound calling, voicemail and easy four digit dialing to other extensions. Put one extension in your Portland office, the other in Seattle. You pay no long distance for extension to extension calls!

This service is only orderable as part of our Hosted Trixbox PBX.

The SPA3102 features the ability to connect standard telephones and fax machines to IP-based data networks with the additional benefit of an integrated connection for legacy telephone network "hop-on, hop-off" applications. SPA3102 users will be able to leverage their broadband phone service more than ever by automatically routing local calls from mobile phones and land lines over to VoIP service providers and vice versa. If power is lost to the unit or Internet service is down, calls can be redirected to a traditional carrier via the FXO interface.

We frequently include analog lines with our proposals for VOIP PBX. Especially if there are more than a few people in an office, the analog line becomes an emergency backup. When the power is out for an extended period, your having a bad day with your network connection, or your just doing some construction (and unplugging almost everything), you may need a backup. Also, for multilocation, campus situations, you may find it practical to put analog lines in for routing 911 calls.
